Progressive Leasing and Acima are lease-to-own programs, not traditional loans. You lease the item, make payments, and own it at the end. It costs more than paying cash up front, but it gets a working fridge in your kitchen this week instead of next year. Pay it off inside the purchase window and you pay close to the ticket price.

    Pick what you want

    Anything in the store: appliances, furniture, mattresses. Bring it to the counter or send a request from the site.

  2. 02

    Apply in a few minutes

    You need a valid ID, an active checking account, and a source of income. Approval does not hinge on a credit score. Apply online before you come in, or at the counter.

  3. 03

    Make an initial payment

    Usually a small amount to start the lease. We tell you exactly what it is before you commit.

  4. 04

    Take it home

    Same day, or on our next delivery run. Then you pay it down on your schedule.

The questions people are afraid to ask

You may have been burned by a rent-to-own deal before. Here are the honest answers.

Is this a loan?
No. Both Progressive Leasing and Acima are lease-to-own agreements. You lease the item, make payments, and own it once it is paid off. That is a real difference, and we will walk you through it.
Which one should I pick?
Both approve people with no credit or bad credit. Progressive gives you a 90-day purchase option. Acima gives you an early purchase option. If you plan to pay it off fast, either one keeps the cost close to the ticket price. Apply to one, and if it is a no, try the other.
Does it hurt my credit?
Neither provider needs good credit to approve you. Ask them directly what they report and when. We would rather you get that from the source.
Does it cost more than paying cash?
Yes. Paying over time on a lease costs more than paying up front, and that is true everywhere. The 90-day and early purchase options cut that cost a lot if you can pay it off early.
What if I change my mind?
Both agreements let you return the item and end the lease. Get the specific terms in writing when you apply.
What do I bring?
A government ID, your checking account details, and proof of income. Most people are approved in minutes.

Progressive Leasing and Acima set their own terms, payments and approval criteria. NWI Appliance & Furniture Outlet does not control them. Read your agreement before you sign, and ask us anything you are not sure about.
